Myth: Males can’t be victims of sexual abuse.
In fact, at least 1 in 6 males have experienced sexual abuse in their lifetime and statistics show that it’s not uncommon for the abuse to take place in childhood. Today we’re dispelling myths, talking signs and risk factors, and discussing what we can do to help our male survivors.
